The American Press Institute will hold a session on fact-checking, politics and accountability journalism at the New York Press Association annual spring convention and trade show.
The organization represents more than 750 newspapers across New York State. Attending the event will be including community press editors, publishers, and reporters, as well as photographers, advertising managers, graphic artists and business managers.
The two-day event will be held April 8-9, 2016, at the Gideon Putnam Hotel and Conference Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. API’s session on accountability journalism will be held Saturday afternoon.
