New digital tools every journalist should try

Eric Newton recommends some “golden oldies” tools the Knight Foundation has funded like Tor, Document Cloud and Timeline JS, in addition to eight other tools including Creatavist to create media-rich presentations, Pop to do mobile visual storytelling, Wickr to safely communicate via mobile, and Poetica to collaboratively edit docs on Gmail, WordPress and Evernote.
