How GQ cut its page load time while redesigning its website

Prior to redesigning its website, GQ’s pages took up to 7 seconds to load, an unacceptable lag as its mobile traffic grows. As its website was redesigned, GQ migrated to a single CMS and decluttered its article pages, cutting load time to under 2 seconds. The company Rigor helped GQ optimize its site performance. Its CEO Craig Hyde says slow load times are often caused by outsourced features and services, which drags down load times.
