As Facebook brings on local and international publishers, Instant Articles are more likely to be shared than typical links

Instant Articles’ product manager Michael Reckhow says there are early signs that users are enjoying Facebook’s new feature: Instant Articles are more likely to be shared than other links on the mobile web, which Reckhow says is because Instant Articles load faster. Facebook announced last week that several dozen more publishers would join Instant Articles soon, including local news outlets such as Billy Penn and Gannett. Reckhow also says that Facebook is focusing on getting international publishers on board, especially in Asia and Latin America.
