The Los Angeles Times and Omaha World-Herald took home top awards in ACES’ 2014 Headline Contest. Judges praised the cleverness of headlines by both, as well as the clarity and the choice of words. The contest recognizes headline writing in various mediums, from newspapers to social media. Some of our favorites: “Dodger Dog is still relished,” “Waiter, I’m ready for the tabby,” and “In Jersey, white roads and white knuckles.”
