Snapchat now draws 6 billion views each day, triple its traffic from 6 months ago
Over the last six months, the number of videos viewed on Snapchat each day has tripled to 6 billion, up from 2 billion in May. Tim Bradshaw writes for Financial Times that this growth puts Snapchat on track to close in on Facebook’s video traffic. Facebook says it receives 8 billion daily video views. While Snapchat’s audience is smaller, the key difference between the two is that Snapchat’s audience is entirely on mobile.
