Stephanie Rivera

Stephanie Rivera, a native Californian and daughter of Mexican immigrants, has been a journalist for nearly a decade. She has covered everything from breaking news, business, local politics, education, and diversity and immigration. A proud graduate of the Cal State system, she worked for the bilingual news website Patch Latino and City News Service before joining the Long Beach Post in 2015. She is currently the community engagement editor for the Post where she looks for strategic newsroom partnerships and helps build relationships with the audience and community at large.
