World Affairs Fellowship deadline approaching
By Steve Buttry February 21, 2006 07:54 AM If you have a great idea for an international story, but your company won't spring to send you abroad to do the reporting, apply for the World Affairs Fellowship of the International Center for Journalists: The deadline for 2006 is approaching: March 1. Even if you don't have such an idea, I commend to your attention the stories from last year's fellowship winners: If you've struggled with writer's block (and I don't want to hear about it if you haven't), you should read Chip Scanlan's "Why I Blog": I will be taking a brief break from passing along tips. I have surgery tomorrow and then will be recovering in the hospital and at home for at least a couple weeks. Email this article
