Four years ago, the ins and outs of how the Electoral College works drew more attention than at any other time in U.S. history. The man in the middle, Director of Legal Affairs for the Office of the Federal Register Michael White, spoke to API's News Editors and Copy Desk Chiefs seminar during the group's visit to The National Archives and Records Administration.

His session, titled, "Everything you wanted to know about the Electoral College but were afraid to ask," covered a variety of Election issues, including some surprising insights about how poorly informed state officials can be about their roles in the electoral process.
