API News Releases API Awards 15 Fellowships for Journalism Educators SeminarApril 08, 2005FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RESTON, VA--The American Press Institute has awarded 15 fellowships to journalism educators to use in attending API's Journalism Educators seminar June 12-17. The fellowships are funded by a generous endowment from the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust, which covers the cost of tuition for all participants. "For the last 17 years, API's Journalism Educators seminar has been tuition-free for all participants thanks to the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust," said Carol Ann Riordan, API's vice president of programming and personnel. "This weeklong seminar exposes college educators to the latest trends in the newspaper industry -- from the challenges of electronic media and convergence to issues in writing and editing."
