Kelly Warren

Kelly Warren has served as advertising director of The Virginian-Pilot since January 2005.  Prior to this she has held various  positions in the advertising department including retail advertising manager, major accounts sales manager,  classified real estate sales manager, training and development manager, major accounts senior sales executive, classified real estate senior sales executive, local retail sales executive and marketing analyst.  Ms. Warren has been with The Virginian-Pilot for 13 years.  Prior to joining The Pilot, she was the sales and marketing manager of Unicorn Ranch Conference Center in Houston, Texas.  

Ms. Warren has served on a number of local and national boards.  Currently, she serves on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Advertising & Marketing Executives, Downtown Norfolk Council and the Newspaper Association of America Federation Ad Council.  Kelly was a general session speaker at the 2007 and 2009 Newspaper Association of America Marketing Conference.  She has earned various industry and advertiser awards, including most recently the Kohl’s Distribution Excellence Award in 2008 and the Media Partner Award the last five years in a row from The Virginian-Pilot’s largest advertiser, Farm Fresh. 

Ms. Warren holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.
