Pankaj Paul

Mr. Paul is responsible for prototyping, content development and deployment for Gannett Digital initiatives. He also teaches new media journalism at Temple University in Philadelphia and is a principal with Vicaara, a content and technology strategy and implementation consultancy.  Previously, he was the managing editor of the Hindustan Times in India (1.4 million circulation, English-language daily). His duties included managing print and online operations and helping to implement the overall content and new media strategy.

Before joining the Hindustan Times, Mr. Paul was the managing editor for niche and new initiatives at The News Journal in Delaware. He supervised design, graphics, photography, news desks, online and non-daily publications. He has also worked at the San Jose Mercury News, The Palm Beach Post, Philadelphia Daily News, The Times-Call in Colorado and The Daily Record in New Jersey.
