William O'Donovan 
 William O'DonovanVice President & Publisher, The Virginia Gazette
Mr. O'Donovan covered sports for the White Plains (NY) Reporter-Dispatch and was a cityside reporter for the Stockton (CA) Record before graduating from the University of Detroit in 1969. He served as an Army press officer in Vietnam and joined The Virginia Gazette in 1971 as a reporter. He was promoted to editor in 1975 and publisher in 1986. As vice president of Virginia Gazette Companies LLC for Daily Press/Tribune, he oversees seven weeklies and three monthly magazines. He is past president of the Virginia Press Association.
