John DuchneskieGraphics Editor, The Philadelphia Inquirer
Mr. Duchneskie is graphics editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he has worked for 22 years, directing a staff of six graphic artists. He has specialized in integrating data, mapping and analysis to create detailed graphics for the Inquirer’s print editions and rich, interactive content for philly.com, the newspaper’s website. His work has been recognized by the Society for News Design and the Society for Professional Journalists. He recently spent one semester as the first Harte Information Graphics Teaching Fellow at the University of Missouri. Mr. Duchneskie has been a speaker at the Computer Assisted Reporting and ESRI International Users conferences. He is married with three children, two dogs, six parrots and three horses and lives in South Jersey.
