Ray Marcano

Mr. Marcano has held a number of management jobs in his 22 years at the Dayton (Ohio) Daily News, including sports editor, metro editor, regional editor and deputy managing editor. He began his reporting career in New York City, his hometown, and has also worked at newspapers in Oklahoma. He is the former national president of the Society of Professional Journalists, the nation¹s largest journalism association, has been accepted into the Fulbright Senior Specialist program and chairs the new technology committee for the Ohio Newspaper Association.
