Rohit Bhargava
Vice President/Interactive Marketing, Ogilvy Public Relations

Mr.  Bhargava joined the Creative Studio in January 2004, bringing more than 10 years of experience in interactive strategy and creative development to Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. In addition to running the interactive marketing team, he is one of the leaders of Ogilvy PR’s Digital Influence practice, focused on helping clients navigate through the rapidly world of consumer generated media (including blogs, rss, podcasts, and other evolving formats). Mr. Bhargava has a strong background of working with large consumer brands, including Unilever, Dupont and Johnson & Johnson. Prior to joining Ogilvy, he spent four years “down under” in Sydney, Australia at Leo Burnett advertising agency, where he led a creative team of designers and producers to deliver online promotional campaigns for Nestle, Kelloggs, Subaru, HP and Heineken – including an award-winning digital postcard online campaign for Heineken to leverage their sponsorship of the Australian Open. His also has worked in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Hong Kong and the Philippines. He has published several articles and thought pieces online as well as several white papers for Ogilvy PR on the subjects of e-mail marketing, blogging and online marketing. He also is a frequent speaker at industry events, such as Search Engine Strategies and the Digital Media Conference. Mr. Bhargava received a B.B.A. degree in international marketing from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, and holds a master’s degree in professional writing and editing from George Mason University. His thesis was in the field of usability and interface design.
