Jim Wadzinski
Advertising Director, Houston Community Newspapers

Jim Wadzoniski is Advertising Director for the Southeast Region of Houstpn Community Newspapers, with responsibility for six weekly papers, one monthly publication, and one daily, with total circulation of more than 159,000.

A native of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, Mr. Wadzinski has lived in Baytown, Texas, for the past 23 years. After attending the University of Wisconsin, he held sales and management positions in the retail and electronics service industry for more than 20 years before his involvement in the newspaper business four years ago.

Over the past three years, Mr. Wadzinski and his team have increased sales at least 100%  each year, which him the honor of being chosen as Suburban Newspapers of America’s Advertising Director of the Year for 2005. He is active in five Chambers of Commerce in his area, is a member of the Kiwanis Club, and the current president of the Lee College Small Business Advisory Board.

Mr. Wadzinki and his wife Sylvia have three children and a brand new granddaughter. An avid golfer, he also is involved heavily in community theatre. In his spare time, you might catch him in his green and gold den watching a Green Bay Packer game.
