Renee Roaming Wind Hencey
Vice President of Advertising, Journal Register Company

Renee’ Roaming Wind Hencey is the Vice President of Advertising for the Journal Register Company, based in Trenton, NJ. In that role she oversees advertising operations for 27 newspapers, 220 websites and 362 non-daily publications.

Prior to joining the Journal Register this spring, Renee was regional advertising manager for Media General. Previously, she was an advertising director with Gannett in Staunton, Virginia.  During her tenure with Gannett she was the retail advertising manager in Appleton, WI, and later promoted to advertising director, in Sheboygan, WI, and Staunton, VA. She also worked in various sales and marketing management positions for several other news and media organizations, including the Tribune Company, CNBC Television, Times Mirror and Harte-Hanks.

Renee’ brings a unique set of management and leadership skills to the newspaper industry, having also distinguished herself as a commercial pilot, and B737 Fleet Technical Instructor for United Airlines.  Renee’ is a member of the Meherrin Indian Tribe of North Carolina.  She attended Indiana University School of Journalism and holds numerous pilot ratings and certificates.
