Vernon Goad

Mr. Goad joined CVS as a manager trainee in 1984, working his way through the company as store manager and district manager before assuming his current position as field marketing manager. He manages vendor relations, product selection and local marketing initiatives for 500 stores in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, and south-central Pennsylvania. Earlier in his career, he was a department manager with Price Chopper Supermarkets in upstate New York. A native of Albany, N.Y., Mr. Goad relocated to the Washington area in 1993 to assist with the transition of People’s Drug into the CVS chain.
