Go Editor, The Hamilton Spectator

Aviva Boxer joined The Spectator in 1996 as a copy editor. In 1999 she became lifestyle editor and shortly after, arts and life editor, responsible for managing both life and entertainment coverage at the paper.She is currently the editor of Go, a section created in October 2003 that is The Spectator's magazine within the newspaper. Every day it includes food, style, arts, entertainment, celebrity gossip, local people, money and health and fitness content.

Ms. Boxer began her journalism career on the East Coast of Canada at the Telegraph Journal in Saint John, New Brunswick, then moved to UPI Toronto and then to The Spectator. She has a degree in English literature from the University of Toronto and a degree in journalism from Ryerson University in Toronto. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada with her husband and two-year-old son.
