Principal, Montemayor Consulting

Robert Montemayor was for many years a staff writer for The Los Angeles Times and was a major contributor to one of that newspaper's most definitive series on the subject of Latinos, “Southern California’s Latino Community,” which was awarded the 1984 Pulitzer Prize Gold Medal for Meritorious Public Service, the most prestigious of all the Pulitzers awarded to newspapers in the U.S. He was also a member of three other reporting teams that were nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. Montemayor has an MBA in marketing from UCLA and a B.A. degree with a major in journalism from Texas Tech University.
