Cheryl Phillips is Vice President of Corporate Sales Development at Sun Media Corporation, a Quebecor Media subsidiary. In that role, she is responsible for developing strategies to grow further revenues through the continuous development of products and people.

Ms. Phillips joined Sun Media Corporation in 2000 as Director of Corporate Sales Development and was charged with the responsibility of creating new and exciting processes to drive revenues for Sun Media through special emphasis on classified and sales training.

Ms. Phillips began her newspaper career at the Globe and Mail in the classified department, first as a sales representative and then moving through the organization in a variety of sales management positions. She then joined Metroland Printing, Publishing and Distributing. Prior to joining Sun Media Corporation, she was Director of Classified Development and Sales Training with Thomson Newspapers.

Ms. Phillips has been an active board member of the Newspaper Association of America's Classified Foundation and Chair of the NAA's Classified Training Committee.
