Patrick DunstanPatrick Dunstan

Dr. Patrick Dunstan is an internationally recognized guest lecturer, author, editor and leading consultant in the design and delivery of programs covering a wide variety of human performance improvement disciplines.

 

His career in helping others maximize their potential spans more than three decades. He served for five years as the first national sales training director for the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC. He became a part of the Chamber's sales and marketing leadership after having successfully established a sales trainers marketing program at the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) in Alexandria, VA.

 

As a consultant, he has helped design and implement performance development programs for a host of prestigious firms and organizations. He recently completed five rewarding years serving as a "performance developer," directing staff development for Landmark's Hampton Roads newspaper, The Virginian-Pilot.  Mr. Dunstan was tapped by The Pilot’s leadership to take over as general sales manager of Pilot Direct in December of 2004. Pilot Direct is a wholly owned subsidiary of Landmark’s Pilot Media Companies, devoted to targeted marketing solutions in the direct mail industry.

 

Mr. Dunstan is a graduate of Chesapeake College, Old Dominion University and The American College of Theology. He has been the recipient of numerous awards for achievement and excellence in outside sales, management and training, including the prestigious "certified trainer" (C.T.) designation bestowed by the International Board of Certified Trainers. He is an avid music collector and makes his home with his family in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
