Jerry Hill

Prior to joining the Chronicle in 1998, Mr. Hill was with Gannett for 13 years. He was the circulation director in Reno, Detroit and Marin, California. For six years, he served on the corporate staff as the audit manager. Mr. Hill is the first vice president of the Newspaper Association of America's Circulation Federation, and president of the California Circulation Managers (CWCMA). In 2002, Mr. Hill was the recipient of the Hearst Eagle Award, which is presented to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the success and prosperity of the Hearst Newspaper Group. He has attended two API seminars: Circulation Executives (1992) and the Executive Development Program (1996).
