API is kicking off its 2010 regional workshop schedule with a series of one-day programs on “Event Marketing: Creative Entrepreneurship,” a lucrative revenue stream that benefits advertisers, sponsors and the newspaper, as well as enhances its brand and value proposition.

Find out the processes that help an organization come up with the most creative events that will have the greatest appeal to its market; the keys to successfully creating and staging an event as well as the pitfalls; and non-traditional ways to market events.

Attendees will take home dozens of case studies of events from a variety of markets as well as share their success stories and lessons learned with their peers. Join us to learn how events can drive new revenue, enhance your brand position, create unique promotions and reach out to your community.

Can't join us in Philadelphia? The "Event Marketing" workshop also will be held:

March 5 in Milwaukee, Wis.
March 12 in Atlanta
March 26 in suburban Boston

Additional event marketing workshops will be held in April and May 2010 in regional sites.
