Scott Goldman, Senior Editor/Visuals at The Indianapolis Star and SND past president, will show you how to integrate print and Web operations to deliver dynamic content across platforms. Joe Knowles, AME Presentation, Chicago Tribune, will show you how the Tribune Company is using design to change the organization.

Design is Differentiation: Discover the power of design to entice people to read, use, share, interact and buy your products … and keep coming back for more. Mary Peskin, API Associate Director, will show you how to take your visual journalism to the next level.

Design is Integration: Find out how Scott Goldman, Senior Editor/Visuals at The Indianapolis Star and SND past president, has developed a hybrid team of multimedia journalists who can attack the stories of the day from every angle more quickly and with focused resources.

Design is Transformation: In tough times, it's the brightest ideas that get noticed. Joe Knowles, The Chicago Tribune’s AME/Presentation will show how their radical new design is a driver for innovation, enterprise and change across the organization. 

Return on Innovation: Good design adds value to the equation of your work, your career and your organization. In this panel discussion, learn how you can get a return on innovation while inspiring yourself and your organization

Tuition: $195

Note: Unlike API's multi-day seminars, workshop tuition is transferable but not refundable.

Hotel/Meal Package: Attendees are responsible for securing their own accommodations.
This charge is in addition to the tuition fee, and is paid directly to the hotel by the seminar member upon checkout.
