How will your organization benefit?

To compete in today’s competitive landscape, media companies must adopt a broad set of revenue strategies going beyond their traditional models.  Participants will return to their organization with the tools to recognize and act on new revenue opportunities that exist outside the traditional core products.

In this new seminar, participants learn to master the newest building blocks of Newspaper Next to serve advertisers and consumers in new ways, using tools like databases, lead generation, local paid-search advertising, self-service channels, e-mail advertising and behavioral targeting.

Building the Revenue Portfolio is offered in conjunction with another new API seminar, Growing Audiences Beyond News. Participants in each separate seminar will work together on a Newspaper Next “Jobs To Be Done” workshop, in which they will develop a joint plan for growing audience and revenue. In the course of this workshop, they will gain a greater understanding of both consumers and advertisers while creating a set of ground rules for appropriate collaboration across the editorial and revenue divide.

Attendees will learn how t

  • Apply the latest Newspaper Next research on promising revenue and audience growth strategies
  • Use new tools to unlock vast amounts of local information that consumers want and need
  • Develop strategies to give businesses a way to connect with new customers and reach new audiences
  • Connect with the business community to unlock the revenue potential

PLEASE NOTE: This seminar is offered in conjunction with Growing Audiences Beyond News. Save 50% on tuition when two people from the same organization attend both seminars. (No other discounts apply, including the "Early Bird.")
